ROOTED is a curated Juneteenth cultural runway experience in Chicago that celebrates the vibrant tapestry of Black creativity, entrepreneurship, and community economics. This unique event serves as a platform for local designers, innovative vendors, and supportive sponsors, all uniting to honor the rich cultural heritage of the Black community. By showcasing fashion and artistry, ROOTED highlights the significance of Black voices in the creative industry, fostering a spirit of collaboration and empowerment.
More than just a runway show, ROOTED embodies a Black economic ecosystem, where commerce and creativity intersect. As a Cultural Networking Day Party, it provides invaluable opportunities for connections and collaborations among artists, entrepreneurs, and the community. Proceeds from this remarkable gathering are reinvested into programs that support the next generation of youth, ensuring that the legacy of Juneteenth continues to inspire and uplift future leaders in Chicago and beyond.
